Part of the PanIIT Andhra Pradesh Summit 2026 — BR Ambedkar Kalavedika, Vijayawada, 3 October 2026.
The Summit brings together PanIIT alumni, government leaders, industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, startups, academicians and technology innovators to shape Andhra Pradesh's innovation ecosystem and its journey towards Swarnandhra Vision 2047. As part of it, the Social Innovation Ideathon invites school students of Classes 8–12 — the future leaders — to engage with societal challenges through technology and conceive ideas that improve quality of life.

What is the Ideathon
Students endeavour to address societal challenges commensurate with the demands of the deep-tech era.
The Social Innovation Ideathon invites school students across Andhra Pradesh to look closely at the place they live in — a street, a bus stop, a lake, a classroom, a hospital queue — and name one problem that genuinely bothers them.
Then they do what innovators do: walk the ground, talk to people, take photos, count things, and build a case with evidence. From that evidence, they imagine how the same place could look five to ten years from now if technology and good design were put to work.
Every idea contributes to Vision Swarna Andhra — a golden, future-ready state built by the generation that will live in it.

Teams of 3–4 students from the same school. Students from different classes can team up. Curiosity matters more than marks.
Teachers & mentors
A teacher coordinator is optional. If a team lists one, their role is to help with registration, permissions and general guidance — never to do the work.
Schools across India
Open to every state and union territory, and every kind of school — government, private, aided, central, international boards and open schooling.
